Covenant Care publicly launched a new brand and logo last week throughout its service area, which includes Northwest Florida and South Alabama. Formerly known as Covenant Hospice and Covenant Alzheimer’s Services respectively, Covenant Care’s new logo is the promise knot, which symbolizes the strength of Covenant’s commitment to those the not-for-profit organization serves. The new promise knot logo is also a visual representation of Covenant’s seamless continuum of care.

In addition to its existing end-of-life care and Alzheimer’s caregiver support groups, Covenant Care will also provide: inpatient palliative care, home based and outpatient palliative care, memory care and private duty in-home nursing services in many areas. The Care Navigation Center will assist individuals with varying needs to navigate the healthcare system.

According to Covenant officials, this new focus toward open access healthcare will help to connect the community with a vast array of available resources that Covenant Care has to offer, and will also help to fill service gaps by offering a single source, high quality option for comprehensive post-acute services.

“Ultimately our focus is on helping more patients achieve a greater quality of life, to extend our expertise in compassionate care beyond hospice services alone and to allow patients access to Covenant’s unparalleled team of caregivers sooner than before,” explained Jeff Mislevy, Covenant Care president and CEO.

“As we make this landmark transition from Covenant Hospice to Covenant Care and as we refresh our brand with a new logo, our promise – our covenant – remains the same. Our promise is to always seek out opportunities and to improve access to high-quality care for anyone in need,” said Mislevy.

According to officials, as a not-for-profit, Covenant Care has the unique ability to re-invest in the community and along with its strategic partners, to fill gaps in healthcare and community resources. In addition, Covenant Care has the opportunity to build on its exceptional legacy as a hospice provider, to expand its promise beyond end-of-life care and explore more diverse services along the continuum of care.
