Matthews & Jones welcomes new partner
Matthews & Jones, LLP announced recently that Dawn E. Stuntz has been named partner and leads the firm’s real estate division team.
“We are very pleased that Dawn is now a partner of Matthews & Jones, LLP,” Dana C. Matthews said. “Dawn’s approach to the practice of law and her exceptional talent, skill and ability are a testament to the longevity of our firm.”
Stuntz has been an associate of the firm since 2006 and specializes in multiple areas of practice including real estate finance and transaction, real estate closings, probate, land use development and local government law. She currently represents the Mid-Bay Bridge Authority, the Destin Fire Control District and the Walton County Tax Collector.

Barry Stanley joins First Florida Bank
First Florida Bank has announced that Barry Stanley has joined the Bank as the senior vice president/director of Secondary Market Lending.
Stanley brings more than 15 years experience as a mortgage loan originator and director of retail sales. He served with Bank of America in the Georgia division before his elevation to director of mortgage loan origination in the Florida Panhandle. For seven consecutive years he was a member of the prestigious Pinnacle Club.

Dr. David Martin Joins Sacred Heart Medical Group
Dr. David Martin, a board-certified rheumatologist, has joined Sacred Heart Medical Group’s practice in Miramar Beach. Dr. Martin has special interests in rheumatoid arthritis, and helping his patients improve their daily activities and functional capacity. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases including, but not limited to arthritis, autoimmune conditions, and other disorders of the bones, joints, tendons, and muscles.
Dr. Martin received his medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University School of Medicine in Hershey, Penn., and completed his internal medicine residency at The University of Rochester Associated Hospitals in Rochester, N.Y. He completed a rheumatology fellowship with the University of California in Irvine.
