Local lifeguard finishes strong at National Championships

Destin lifeguard Ryan Paroz finished fourth with 55.375 points out of all the men competing at the USLA National Lifeguard Championships in Hermosa Beach, California.

The event took place from Aug 10-13.

He also placed 2nd in the open men division of the Surfski Race.
