Students named to President’s List and Dean’s List

Northwest Florida State College recognized the superior scholastic achievement of students completing the summer 2016 semester by naming them to the President’s List and Dean’s List.

The President's List includes students with nine or more credits in the semester who earned a grade point average of 3.8 to 4.0 in college-level courses during the semester. The Dean's List includes students with nine or more credits in the semester who earned a GPA of 3.5 to 3.79 in college-level courses during the semester.

Troy University recognizes new sorority members

Nearly 300 Troy University students pledged Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Chi Omega, Kappa Delta and Phi Mu sororities this fall at the Troy campus. Local Destin residents who joined sororities include Jesi Harrell, Alpha Gamma Delta; Hope Needham, Alpha Gamma Delta; and Morgan Taylor, Kappa Delta.
