She volunteered regularly at Gwinnett Community Clinic, Lazarus Soup Kitchen and the American Cancer Society, and she also organized donation drives for the Atlanta Children’s Shelter and for the American Red Cross following the Haitian earthquake. During residency, Tidwell performed research on the prevention and awareness of child abuse.

Tidwell is accepting new patients and most major insurances. She joins the office of Dr. Rickey Viator and Dr. Stephanie Gorman, which is located at 23 Mack Bayou Loop, Suite 200 in Santa Rosa Beach.
