Tee Off for Toys gives to CIC children

Special to The Log

The Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort helped the kids living at the Children in Crisis Neighborhood by having their Christmas “Tee Off for Toys” campaign for the fifth year in a row. Thanks to the generous donations from golfers, the kids at CIC received toys to help them have a happier holiday season and a better New Year. The golfers donated more than 500 toys worth more than $7,500.

Children In Crisis staff members Laura Moore, volunteer and events director and Allie Noah, development director, received a large donation of toys from members of the Sandestin Golf Resort, including Liam Branagan, Rick Hileman and Joe Newell.

“The donation helped provide our at-risk kids with needed items and to help make the holiday season merry," said Ken Hair, CIC president/CEO. "The donation was timed so that our children would have Christmas toys, birthday gifts and other needed items throughout the year. The donation truly makes a difference and we are very thankful.”
