ECPRF scholarships

The Emerald Coast Public Relations Foundation awarded two $1,000 scholarships to Fort Walton Beach High School seniors.

Stephen Spivey and Grason Shackelford, both residents of Destin, were selected by the foundation’s board of judges based on their academic records, leadership and community activities and letters of recommendation.

Shackelford plans to attend the University of Georgia majoring in business marketing. Spivey will attend Troy University and plans to major in business administration and global marketing.

Troy University Chancellor's List

Brianna Marler and Stephanie Pridgen, both of Destin, have been named to the Chancellor's List for the spring semester and Term 4 of the 2016/2017 academic year.

Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who earn a grade point average of 4.0 qualify for the Chancellor's List.

2017 graduates at Troy University

Troy University recently announced students who completed the requirements for graduation during the spring 2017 semester at the Troy campus. Local residents who graduated include Steven Petrucci of Destin, bachelor of science; Betty Tidwell of Miramar Beach, bachelor of science; Benjamin Hughes of Destin, bachelor of science in business administration; and Stephanie Pridgen of Destin, bachelor of science.
