The menu for Oct. 16-20 at Destin Elementary includes:

• Oct. 16: Chicken Patty on a Bun, Pasta with Meat Sauce, Steamed Broccoli, Applesauce and Choice of Milk

• Oct. 17: Pizza Dunker Sticks, Marinara Sauce, Turkey Taco Meat with Tortilla Corn Chips, Bread Slice, Steamed Green Beans, Chilled Juicy Pears and Choice of Milk

• Oct. 18: French Toast, Sausage Patty, Syrup, Grilled Cheese, Baked Potato Rounds, Strawberry Cup and Choice of Milk

• Oct. 19: Mini Chicken Parmesan, Breadstick, Hamburger on a Bun, Red & White Bean, Raisins and Choice of Milk

• Oct. 20: Fish Nuggets, Cheese Pizza, Steamed Carrots, Chilled Pineapple Tidbits and Choice of Milk

This lightly breaded nugget is awesome. This item is definitely kid tested and kid approved. We wouldn’t serve fish unless we knew the kids would eat this up.
