Okaloosa County Extension Horticulture Agent Larry Williams recently recognized the following Master Gardeners for their dedication and volunteer efforts on behalf of the University of Florida Cooperative Extension Service and the residents of Okaloosa County.

The Okaloosa County Master Gardeners have three office locations to assist with gardening and grass questions. In addition, soil samples can be brought by an office location for testing. The Fort Walton Beach office, 127 Hollywood Blvd., is open for walk-ins until noon on Fridays. The Niceville office is at the Niceville Youth Center, 200 Campbell Drive, and is open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mondays. The Crestview office, 3098 Airport Road, is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and is open from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Call 850-689-5850 before going to insure there is a Master Gardener on duty. Soil testing at the Crestview office is on Mondays only.
