"Highway 90 is back open at this time. Unfortunately, Walton County Sheriff’s Office was working an incident where the passenger in a vehicle took their own life," the post said. "These are very devastating circumstances and appreciate your patience. We apologize for the delay in getting the roadway back open, but these types of situations take care and compassion when unraveling what occurred."

No other details were released as of Saturday evening.
