When will there be a parade for the UGA national championship? Here's what we know

The confetti has fallen in Indianapolis. Now, it's time to welcome the Bulldogs back to Athens.

The national championship celebration parade will be held Saturday, Jan. 15. at Sanford Stadium, according to a press release from UGA athletics.

The parade, which starts at 12:30 p.m., will go down Lumpkin Street to the stadium with a Dawg Walk at 1 p.m., according to the release. A formal program will begin in the stadium after.

Gates open at noon.

All tickets will be free for season ticket holders and students, though you will have to fill out a request form starting Tuesday. Any remaining tickets will be open to the public Thursday and Friday.
