Ale House ailing after Wing Stop soars


Tracy Stanley connected for three hits to lead Wing Stop in a 17-4 win over Miller’s Ale House in the Division II Coed Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin. Stanley ripped a double and two singles for three RBIs. In the first inning, Wing Stop started strong scoring the 10-run limit, while holding Miller’s to three runs. Miller’s picked up one more run in the second and Wing Stop finished off the game in five innings. Scott Shroyer doubled and singled for an RBI for Wing Stop, and Zach Rettig doubled and singled for three RBIs. Angela Cotee doubled for two RBIs for Miller’s. Taylor Gray hit a double and Woody Wood singled for an RBI. •Dockside Bar 25, Hancock Bank 6 Dockside was on top 14-3 at the end of two innings. Travis Carroll tripled and hit two doubles for Dockside. Kim Herring doubled and singled, and Matt Mashek doubled and hit two singles. •Florida Septic and Sewer 14, Lucky Rotten Apple 11 After trailing 5-0 at the end of three, Florida Septic came back strong in the last three for the win. Chris Edmondson doubled and hit two singles for Florida Septic. Katie Beason hit two singles for an RBI, and Shawn Sheppard doubled and singled for an RBI. Steven Hopkins cracked three doubles for three RBIs for Rotten Apple. Matt Trammell tripled and doubled, and Karen Parrish singled. DIVISION I •Doc’s Softball Softies 36, SOS Printing 27 Doc’s jumped out to an 11-3 lead in the first two innings. Jesse Hernandez was the big stick for Doc’s with three home runs and two singles for nine RBIs. Adam Conant hit three doubles and a single for three RBIs, and Carrie Dunning hit four singles. George Cook belted a two-run homer. Matt Small ripped two doubles for three RBIs for SOS. Frank Kaesser hit three singles for three RBIs, and Crystal Taylor hit three singles. Jonathan Pfau knocked a two-run homer. •SOS Printing 18, A&W Free Agents 14 The game was tied at 6-6 at the end of two innings. SOS had its big inning in the fifth with nine runs scored. Matt Small slapped a home run, double and two singles for two RBIs for SOS. Frank Kaesser tripled and singled for three RBIS, and Lynda Tanner doubled and singled for two RBIs. Jamie Duncan tripled, doubled and singled for an RBI for Free Agents. Tamara Copes and Tiny Lee each hit two doubles and a single. Matt Campbell cranked out a two-run homer.
