Doc’s Softball Softies drives it home for win over Beach Tech

William Johnson connected for four hits to lead Doc’s Softball Softies in a 23-4 win over Beach Tech in the Men’s Competitive Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Johnson slapped a home run, double and two singles for three RBIs.

Doc’s started strong scoring 13 runs in the first inning. They managed to put the game away in five innings.

Steve Rivera ripped a home run, and two singles for three RBIs for Doc’s. Travis Holcomb homered and hit two doubles for four RBIs. Vinnie Demma also hit a home run.

Brandon Patzig led Beach Tech with two singles for an RBI. Patrick Chimento singled for an RBI. •Pike’s Painting 27, EOD 26

Pike’s kept the game close and then exploded with 15 runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Smacking home runs for Pike’s were Carlos Izguidezo, Travis Holcomb, Jeff Milan and Chase McGinnis.

Jason Hipp and Chris Ferrell each blasted two home runs for EOD. Justin Bryant connected for one homer.
