Old Bay Steamer rolls over Gulf Coast Bulldogs

Chris Wade knocked down 18 points to lead Old Bay Steamer in a 52-49 win over Gulf Coast Bulldogs in the 17-plus Adult Basketball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Wade hit three 3-pointers, three twos and three free throws.

At the half, Old Bay was sitting on a 10-point lead.

Anthony Lanier scored eight points for Old Bay and Curtis Sims made one 3-pointer on his way to seven points.

Xavier Jones hit two 3-pointers en route to 21 points for Gulf Coast Bulldogs. Ishmael Skylark scored eight points and Derek Peoples made two 3s for six points.

• FWB Bulls 64, Falcons 55

Down by two points at the half, the Bulls rallied in the second half with 30 points for the win.

Sherman Cain had the hot hand for the Bulls with seven 3-pointers on his way to 25 points. Magic Hall scored 19 points, and Tivo Wooson hit one trey en route to 12 points.

Ben Vega of the Falcons led all scorers with 26 points, including five 3s. A.J. Tillman made one 3-pointer on his way to 15 points, and Jimmy Herold made one 3-pointer and eight points.

• Prestige Worldwide 54, Old Timers 50

Prestige overcame a 21-18 deficit at the half to pull off the victory.

Anthony was top gun for Prestige with two 3s on his way to 18 points for Prestige. Clinton Leopold scored 14 points, including three 3s, and Tommy O'Drain made two 3s en route to 13 points.

Mike Anders hit two 3s en route to 14 points for Old Timers. Ryan Legions and Erik Fordyce each scored 12 points, with Legions making two 3s and Fordyce, three 3s.
