Willingham Plumbing cleans up against Luxe Lounge


Ranson Early knocked in seven runs to lead Willingham Plumbing in a 22-15 win over Luxe Lounge in the Men's Competitive Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Early clobbered two homers, a double and two singles for seven RBIs.

The first three innings of play were close with Plumbing holding a 14-12 lead. In the bottom of the fifth, Plumbing put the game away with 13 runs.

Kyle Kennedy ripped a home run, two triples and a single for five RBIs for Plumbing. Aaron Sweeney blasted two home runs, a double and a single for four RBIs. Daniel Spencer, Andrew Elliott and Chase McInnis each hit home runs.

Jonathan Clark homered, hit two doubles and a single for two RBIs for Luxe, while Kyle Kriech tripled, doubled and singled for three RBIs.

• Frank's Cash and Carry 25, Luxe Lounge 22

Trailing 13-9 at the end of three innings, Frank's rallied in the sixth with eight runs.

Casey Schissler slammed one out of the park, connected for a triple and two doubles for six RBIs for Frank's. William Eads doubles and hit three singles for an RBI, and Zack Bryant homered, doubled and hit two singles for three RBIs. Dusty Bryant also hit a home run.

Kyle Kriech knocked in eight RBIs on three homers, a triple and a double for Luxe. Jonathan Clark homered and hit three singles for four RBIs, and John Velez doubled and hit three singles. Mark Bailey was also credited with a home run.

Doc's had a big inning in the second with 13 runs.

Kevin Bush was the big stick for Doc's with a home run, double and two singles for six RBIs. Timmy Sallee homered, tripled and hit two singles for five RBIs, and Kyle Ely hit three singles for two RBIs.

Jeff Tullis hit two singles for Frank's. Dusty Bryant and Jake Fannin each hit two singles for an RBI. William Eads homered.

• Doc's Softball Softies 31, Willingham Plumbing 18

Doc's put the game away in four innings with four in the first, six in the second, 13 in the third inning and eight in the fourth.

Slapping home runs for Doc's were Kyle Ely, Justin Chaknis, Steve Rivera and Doc Agostinelli.

Blasting homers for Plumbing were Aaron Sweeney, Ranson Early, Kyle Kennedy and Parker Willingham.
