Special to The Log

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast will host the Great Futures Invitational Golf Tournament to support the Boys & Girls Clubs in Pensacola and Milton.

The tournament will be held on Oct. 17 at Marcus Pointe Golf Course, located in Pensacola.  The event will include lunch, a putting contest, 18-hole scramble and an awards ceremony.  Registration begins at 11 a.m., and tee-off is at 1 p.m. Entry fees are $100 for individual golfers and $375 for a team of four, which include: player entry, range balls, lunch, door prizes, gift bags, and awards reception.

Organized by the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast and the volunteer Unit Board of Directors of the Pensacola and Milton Clubs, the tournament will raise funds to promote and support the Boys & Girls Club’s after school programs.

“The Great Futures Invitational Golf Tournament will be a fun and important event to help raise awareness and critical funding for our Clubs,” said Kelsey Powell, Pensacola Boys & Girls Club Unit Board Chairman.

The rain date for this event will be Oct. 31.
