Legion of Doom cracks down on Busch Leaguers

Robin Noah knocked in three runs to lead Legion of Doom in a 15-4 win over Busch Leaguers in the KLUTCH Real Skills Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Noah belted a triple and two singles for three RBIs.

The game got off to a slow start with the game tied at 1-1 at the end of four innings. Legion went on to score three in the fifth, four in the sixth and seven in the seventh for the win.

Travis Langly hit the singles for three RBIs for Legion. Casey Schissler doubled and singled for two RBIs.

Jake Early doubled and singled for two RBIs for Busch. Robert Price doubled and Damen Reynolds hit two singles.

• Team America 18, Legion of Doom 16

At the end of three innings, Team America led 11-6.

Jimmy Cairen slapped a home run, double and a single for four RBIs for America. Chris Poole tripled and singled four three RBIs.

Heavy hitters for Legion were Travis Sweeney with a home run and a double for four RBIs, Ryan Hinely with two singles for four RBIs, and Travis Long with three singles for two RBIs.

• Blue Gills 19, Team America 15

Blue Gills led 15-10 at the end of four innings.

Andrew Irving connected for two triples and three singles for Blue Gills. Ethan Cole doubled and hit four singles, and Drew Armicrest doubled and hit two singles.

Chris Poole slapped a triple, two doubles and a single for America. Mitch Bently hit two doubles and a single for five RBIs, and Sean Billings doubled and hit three singles.

• Blue Gills 8, McLendon Builders 6

At the end of four innings, the game was tied at 5-5. Blue Gills scored three in the fifth and McLendon one in the sixth.

Caleb Midgett doubled and hit three singles for Blue Gills. Ethan Cole doubled and hit two singles, and Chad Horton doubled and singled.

Mitch Speed tripled, hit two doubles and a single for McLendon. Lenny Matos and Justin Clark each doubled and singled.
