Destin Peewee Dolphins down Shalimar

The Destin Peewee Dolphins beat Shalimar 8-6 on Saturday moving them to 5-1 on the season and second place overall in the Panhandle Youth Football Association.
It was a defensive battle all the way to the last 40 seconds of the game.
Linebacker Brick Larabee had an interception and a safety which sent the Dolphins into halftime leading 2-0. Carter Macilwain had a fumble recovery and kept the pressure in the backfield. Brandon Harnish had some great open field tackles which kept Shalimar out of the end zone.
Harrison Orr scored Destin’s only touchdown in the third quarter off of a hard 16-yard run to the outside and diving for the piling.
"This was a great game, it was back and forth till the end," said Coach Chad Price.
"Our offense played hard, scoring twice but having one touchdown called back due to an offensive penalty. The defensive was flawless and all 11 players played till the whistle. This was a great example of playing together. As a team we can over come every obstacle," Price said.
Team captains for Destin on Saturday were Harrison Orr, Hunter Barber, Aiden Mohr, and Maxwell Jones.
