Destin Peewee Dolphins stomp Panama City Dolphins

Destin Peewees run over Panama City for a huge victory on Saturday.

It was Dolphins against Dolphins, but the Destin Dolphins prevailed with a 46-6 win in peewee football action in the Panhandle Youth Football League.

The Destin Dolphins showcased their talent to remain in second place overall with a record of 6-1.

Destin's Harrison Orr scored two touchdowns and one extra point conversion. Orr had some big blocks and rushed for a total of 106 yards.

Chadrick Price also had two touchdowns with one successful extra point conversion. Price had a big game with a total of 186 yards rushing.

Zachary Thomas scored two touchdowns one being a 45-yard scramble to the outside. Thomas also scored an extra point conversion.

Maddox Hayles had a 50-yard run which set up a touchdown by Jacob Castle. Castle had a successful extra point conversion after he hurdled over a defender.

The defense had a big game with an interception and fumble recovery by Brick Larabee. Kadon Chapman had a forced fumble and recovery as well as Brandon Harnish and Christian Harnish. Price Bowen had some key back field tackles along with teammate Will Blanchard.

Destin team captains for the day were Maddox Hayles, Kadon Chapman, Brady Kelley, and Jackson Lapointe.
