Destin Little League registration now open

If your youth is looking to play in the Destin Little League Association, now is the time to get registered.

Registration is now open online at www.destinlittleleague.net.

Cost is $75 for the first child and $50 for each additional child. T-ball registration is for youth ages 4-6; machine pitch baseball, ages 7-8; kid pitch baseball, ages 9-10; majors baseball, ages 11-12; machine pitch softball, ages 7-10; and majors softball, ages 9-12.

Players can register in person from 5-8 p.m. at the Destin Community Center on Jan. 9, 16, 23, and 30; or 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Jan. 10, 17, 24, and 31.

Registration closes Feb. 1.

Volunteers will begin working on field preparations from noon to 2 p.m. on Sundays in January at Dalton Threadgill Park.

The Destin Little League Association is a 100 percent volunteer run organization that provides a place for the children to play ball. So register as early as possible, because the number of players dictates all the other preparations for the season.
