Youth basketball league results

The city of Destin’s Youth Basketball League is in full swing at the Destin Community Center with family and friends showing up to watch the competition Friday night and Saturday. Here are some of the scores and highlights.

4 U

• Thrivent Financial 23, Dewey Destin 14

Wallace Depaula scored 10 points for Thrivent, while Joey Carmona made six points for Deweys.

• Kidz Korner 16, Home Instead Senior Care 8

Anthony Kirby was the high scorer for Kidz Korner with six points. Jack Harrell and Zai'shawn Brown each scored three for Home Instead.

• Destin Community Center Yellow 24, Destin Community Center Green 8

Jabari Weeks was high-point player for DCC Yellow with 10 points. Mason George scored seven points for DCC Green.

• Alys Beach 15, Frankfurt Law 6

Chrissy Cooper and Calvin Blackman each had five points for Alys Beach. Hank Stone and Ebner Ingram each scored two for Frankfurt.

• D and D Services 19, Wood and Associates 6

Brayden Waters ended the game with a high score of seven for D and D. Wade Harrell scored four points for Wood and Associates.

• Dr. Bawa and Associates 23, Destin Community Center Light Blue 8

Jordan Figueroa was the high scorer for Dr. Bawa with 18 points followed by Maylin Nicholson with five points. Cannon Wilbur was the top scorer for DCC with four points.

• Fudpuckers 18, Regal Stephens Construction 16

Wyatt Wainwright was the top scorer for Fuds with 16 points in this epic battle leading into overtime. John Rice scored 10 points for Regal.

• Nathan Hall 23, AJ's Seafood 16

Jax Lechner scored eight points for Nathan Hall. Roman Leibold and Logan Reeder each tossed in six pionts for AJ's.

• Goodyear Wingfoots 18, Gulf Coast Dermatology 14

Jesse Winslette was the top scorer for Goodyear with 10 points. Jacob Castle scored eight for Gulf Coast.

• Wood and Associates P.A. 15, Treehouse Therapies 10

Garrett Jacobs led Wood and Associates with nine points. Dean Redmond tossed in six points for Treehouse.

Jalen Tomita scored six points for Home Depot, while Diego Perez made six points for Beach'N.

• Title Works 24, Destin Community Center Light Blue 18

Ian Mollihan scored 16 for Title Works. Izaiah Feligiano netted 14 points for DCC Light Blue.

• 850 Surf 18, Destin Community Center 17

Parker Seagle scored 12 points for 850 Surf. Zander Davis made 12 points for DCC.

• Trustmark Bank 10, Coastal Cruisers 9

Braxton Taylor and Carston Phillips both scored four points for Trustmark Bank. Kirch Bright made three points for Coastal.

Kobe Babin scored 10 points for On the Coast. Luke Edelman scored six points for Bubba Gump.

• Harbor Capital 25, Destin Athletic Club 16

Ezekial Oswald was high-point player for Harbor Capital with 10 points. Will Rutland scored five points for Destin Athletic Club.

Justin Winter was the top scorer for Lennys with 20 points, and Logan Massingill scored 12 for Payne.
