They’ve done it again.

For the fourth time in five years, the Destin Middle School boys golf team captured the Okaloosa County Championship Monday morning at the Eglin Eagle course in Niceville, winning by a six-stroke margin over second place Ruckel of Niceville.

“I’m so proud of how this team improved leading up to the tournament,” said Destin Coach Kelly Richbourg of his team that wrapped up 8-1.

Destin’s No. 1 player, Parker Milam, proved his positioning, firing an even par 35 to lead the Marlins and win the individual County Title.

Destin’s No. 2, Kannon Goodman, placed second overall with a three over par, 38.

Blake Rigdon, No. 3 for Destin, shot a 40 while Tyler Clark came in with 44.

All of the top four Destin golfers were named to the All-Tournament team.

Others scoring in the top six for Destin were Brandon Vanhoy with a 45 and Tanner Morlan at 46. Other members of the Destin golf team include Cole Farrah, Nick Tenholder and Parker Seagle.
