Tenore tees it up for win

Madison Tenore, who also plays golf for the Destin Marlins, tees off in the golf tour Classic in Niceville.

Destin’s Madison Tenore won her division in the Another Broken Egg Café Junior Classic held in conjunction with the Emerald Coast Junior Golf Tour. She took first in the 11-14 age group with a 78 on the Eagle Course at Eglin Golf Course in Niceville over the weekend.

Chase Hurt, also of Destin, shot a 77 and placed third, while Parker Jones shot a 78 for fourth place in the 15-18 age group.

In the nine-hole division, Morlan Tanner of Destin also placed first in the 9-11 age division with a 44.
