Destin youth basketball results posted
The Destin Youth Basketball program is in full swing at the Destin Community Center with games played on Friday evenings and Saturday.
Here are some of the latest results from the program:
3-4 division
• D & D Services defeated 654Limo 29-16 with Parker Bloom hitting on all cylinders with 15 points. Connolly Barcus scored six points, while Ariel Coleman chipped in three. 654Limo was led by Blake Pritchard’s nine points followed by four from Parker Mentado.
• Moe’s Southwest Grill poured in 31 points to top The Will Lawyer by 16 points. Ishmael Wilson was hot from the outside resulting in 15 points for Moe’s. William Horin also had a strong game with nine points. The rest of the scoring load was shared by Isaiah Paulino, Bentley Reed, Brooklyn Berry and Luke Horin. The Will Lawyer was led by Bentley Bailey with six and Harper Reynolds with four points. Others scoring were Emma Ballard, Jack Harrell and Jax O’Dell.
5-6 division
• Wood & Associates, P.A. edged ThomCo Enterprises 21-17. Isaac Holbrook scored 11 points for Wood. Carter Dallman chipped in four points in the winning effort. ThomCo had a team effort with Hank Stone scoring six, Max Thomas five and Cannon Wilbur three.
• Harbor Capital beat Frankfurt 1031 Exchange 22-16. Harbor was led by Jackson Black with seven, Silas Thackeray’s six and Maddox Mason with five. Hamilton Martin had three points and Finn Moak chipped in one. Gabriel Spears and Holden Black each scored six for Exchange. Anthony Figueroa and Lucille Frankford each scored two points and played a strong all around game.
• Donovan Development topped Home Instead Senior Care 21-12 with Sean Simon putting in a strong performance scoring 13 points. Parker Yates scored five and Holden Hughes three. Camren Davis led Senior Care with seven points, while Brooklynn Cisek and Cameron Kerns each scored two. King Clemons hit a free throw and played tight defense.
• Dermatology Specialists of Florida came out on top of LDV Beach Service 35-21. Dane Warren had another big game with 21 points. Nolan Dooly scored eight, Jayce Roberson six and Addie Kelly and Jaiden Fair each scored one. Scoring for LDV were Mason McPhillips with nine followed by Brooks Chouinard with seven, Colin Price three and Malachi Grimes two.
7-8 division
• Home Instead Senior Care pulled away from America’s Swimming Pool Co. for a 29-22 victory. Carson Fayard led all scorers with 18 points followed by Lola Warren with eight. Brody Harrell chipped in with two points and also had a strong rebounding game. America’s Swimming Pool Co. played scrappy defense but ran out of gas in the last four minutes. John Rice tossed in 10 points followed by Connor Eiland with six and Caroline Stanford and Madeleine Swilley each with two.
• DEA Solutions proved a little too strong for Happyfeet.net as they pulled off a 31-23 win Saturday morning. The winners were led by Baylen Knox with 17 points. Mason Wetzel backed him up with nine. Calvin Blackman, Carter Phillips and DJ Thomas also scored. Happyfeet had Logan Reeder pouring in 14 points followed by Hutton Douglas with five.
• Infinite Lasers edged out LuLu’s Destin 22-17 in a hotly contested game. Zachary Clark and Mason George scored six each for Lasers. Addison Taylor and Landon Ullrich both hit for four points followed by Owen Davis with two. LuLu’s had two main scorers with Caleb Wright sinking four baskets and Jabari Weeks tossing in three jump shots.
9-10 division
• Merrill Lynch/McGovern & O’Dell doubled the score on AAMCO Total Car Care with a 28-14 win. Luis Figueroa was tops for Merrill Lynch with seven points, followed by Elijah Oswald, Jalen Tomita and Deangelo Shorts with six each. AAMCO spread their scoring load but had strong defensive efforts from Allen Collins, Gysel Nohrenberg, Liam McNeil and Ryan Willis.
• Try as they might, Coastal Accounting couldn’t penetrate the defensive wall that was put up by Beach’N Destin as they fell 43-14. Coastal was led by the tandem of Brackin Cobb and Miller Lindsley who had eight and six points respectively. Emma Slagle played an all-around game in defeat. Beach’N was led by Maddox Fayard with 18 points followed by Izaiah Fellciano’s 17 points. Jacob Castle, Hunter Barber and Brody Plasier also chipped in to make the scoring column.
• Fat Daddy’s Arcade rolled to a 34-15 win over Northwest Florida Fair. The Baturyn brothers, Daniil with 22 and Pavel with 10 points once again led the way to victory. Maddox Hayles banged the boards and Wyatt Wainwright played solid offense and defense throughout the game. Northwest was led by a balanced attact by Ethan Davis with seven, Carston Phillips with five and J. Cole and Carrington Phillips with two each.
• In a closely contested game, Fudpuckers edged out Goodyear Wingfoots 32-27. Despite Goodyear’s Harrison Orr who scored 19 points, Fudpuckers pulled away after the third quarter to pull off the victory. Fudpucker’s were paced by Noah Mason with 12 and Lael Chatman with 10 points. Garrett Fulmer and Grayson Blackburn also scored four each.
11-12 division
• Hammerthread Embroidery lost to Gameday Pizza 51-33. Pizza was led by Luke Edelman with 16 points, followed by 10 each from John Balters and Griffin Moore. Shawn Default scored eight and Kaylin Winter hit for seven. Zander Davis scored 14 for Hammerthread while Donovan Monsees scored eight.
• Trustmark Bank beat Beach’N Destin 42-15. Trey Wainwright was tops for Trustmark with 14 points followed by Hudson Akers and Parker Seagle with eight each. Aidan Davis, Blake Rigdon and Hudson Cook also scored. Beach’N Destin had Ian Mollihan with nine points. Logan Cann added four points and Trey Rahilly had two points and a hand full of rebounds.
• Lenny’s Subs edged Home Depot 27-24. Nick Pierce, Maya Sherwood and Diego Perez all had eight points for Lenny”s. Home Depot was led by Campbell DeBra with 10 points. Kruz Watson and Michael Coppola each had four points for Home Depot.
