X-treme edges out Doc's

Josh Snyder connected for five hits to lead X-treme in a 31-30 win over Doc’s in the Men’s Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Snyder smacked a home run, double and three singles for five RBIs.

X-treme led 10-6 at the end of two innings and pulled away 20-9 by the fourth. Doc’s took the lead in the last two innings, but X-treme pulled it out in the bottom of the seventh with five runs.

Travis Carroll homered, doubled and hit three singles for three RBIs for X-treme, while Majet Hunt tripled, hit two doubles and two singles for an RBI. Austin Jessup and Mark Bergerstock each hit home runs.

Stevie Rivera hit two doubles and three singles for three RBIs for Doc’s. Vinny Cannazalla homered and hit two doubles for three RBIs, and Doc Agostinelli hit three singles for three RBIs. Shawn Atkins belted two homers.

Doc’s 22, Heritage Tree 10

The first two innings of play were close with Doc’s holding a one-run lead. In the next two innings, Doc’s pulled away to finish the game off in five innings.

Chase McGinnis clobbered three home runs for eight RBIs for Doc’s. Stevie Rivera hit four singles for two RBIs, Josh Hall homered and hit three singles for two RBIs, Justin Chaknis doubled and hit three singles for two RBIs, and Shawn Atkins tripled, hit two doubles and a single for two RBIs.

Jamie Dibenedetto ripped a homer and two singles for two RBIs for Heritage. Brandon Hewlett hit three singles for an RBI, and Donny Montry hit two singles for an RBI.

McLendon Builders 25, Scared Hitless 13

After three innings, McLendon was sitting on a 16-9 lead.

Brandon Patzig connected for five singles for an RBI for McLendon. Brian Martinez homered, doubled and hit two singles for an RBI, and Brandon Crumbley clobbered three homers and a double for three RBIs. Jeff LaDue also hit a home run.

Zack Newman knocked out a home run, along with a double and a single for three RBIs for Hitless. John Gillette tripled, doubled and singled for two RBIs, and Jordan Brewer tripled and singled.

X-treme 25, McLendon Builders 12

X-treme jumped out to a 17-6 lead in the first two innings and then finished it off in five.

Josh Snyder hit two doubles and two singles for two RBIs for X-treme. Matt Reich homered and hit two singles for three RBIs, and Drew Pinckerly belted two homers and a single for four RBIs. Jamie Steiner and Travis Carroll each smacked a home run.

Cleve Daniels knocked in six runs for McLendon on two homers and a single. Andrew McLendon homered and singled for an RBI, and Brandon Patzig tripled and singled for an RBI.

SunSouth 12, Beer Necessities 11

Josh Livingston was the big stick for SunSouth with a home run, double and a single. Todd Schragg tripled and hit two singles, and Frank Larzano connected for four singles.

Jared Rogers doubled and hit three singles for an RBI for Beer, while Cody Barron tripled and singled.

30 Aces 20, Next Level Photography 15

Nate Hendrickson hit three singles for 30 Aces, and David Hester doubled and hit two singles.

Frankie Owens led Next with a double and two singles. Rick Ivey and J.B. Salina each hit three singles.
