Driftwood Estates clocks LuLu's

Kyle Boyer connected for five hits to lead Driftwood Estates in a 24-7 victory over LuLu’s in the city of Destin’s Coed Softball League at Morgan Sports Center.

Boyer tripled, hit two doubles and two singles for two RBIs.

At the end of four innings, Driftwood was up 9-7. In the top of the fifth, Driftwood brought in five and then put the game away in the seventh with 11 runs.

Steve Cline doubled and hit three singles for three RBIs for Driftwood. Lindsey Carol hit two doubles and a single for an RBI.

Jimmy Morter doubled and singled for an RBI for LuLu’s. Paula Emery singled for an RBI, and Matt O’Hare doubled for an RBI.

HOA’s 16, Navigators 13

After four innings of play, the game was tied at 6-6. HOA’s exploded in the top of the fifth for 10 runs to pull off the win.

Ken Wampler led HOA’s with a triple and three singles for three RBIs. Ann Boyton hit four singles for three RBIs, and Lauren Woods homered and hit two doubles for four RBIs.

Ryan Marcell connected for two homers, a double and a triple for three RBIs for Navigators. Richard Ritnour tripled, doubled and hit two singles for an RBI, and April Springer hit three singles.

TayGray Photography 24, Blind Shots 23

At the end of two innings, the game was deadlocked at 9-9, but by the end of four, TayGray had a 20-16 advantage.

Mark Bergerstock was tops for TayGray with a triple and three singles for three RBIs. Paul Schoenberg doubled and hit two singles for an RBI, and Angela Coteat hit three singles for two RBIs. Josh Snyder and Chad Ashton both clobbered home runs.

Michael Haynes ripped two home runs and two singles for six RBIs for Blind Shots. Nikki Webb doubled and hit two singles for three RBIs, and Kurt Haynes homered, doubled and singled for three RBIs. Chris Poole also smacked a home run.

Advanced A/C 17, Almighty Installations 5

Advanced jumped out to a 12-2 lead in the first two innings and managed to put the game away in five.

Brandon Patzig and Travis Carroll were the big sticks for Advanced A/C, each with home runs.

Marti Littlefieled tripled, doubled and singled for two RBIs for Almighty. Todd Preston connected for two doubles and Don Buck tripled and singled for two RBIs.

30A Company 21, Merica 19

After three innings, 30A led 10-9. In the bottom of the fourth, 30A exploded for eight runs to pull away.

Andy Poveda knocked in seven runs for 30A on two triples and a double. Scott McLeod clobbered two homers, a double and a single for four RBIs.

Chris Poole homered and hit two singles for two RBIs for 30A. Jane Blanken hit three singles for an RBI, and Justin Luna homered and singled for four RBIs.

Emerald Coast Chiropractic 19, Fenders 13

Evan Groth led Emerald Coast with a tripled, double and two singles. Kat Mortenson hit two doubles and a single, and John Corlew connected for three doubles.

Davey Bazylak belted a home run, triple and two doubles for Fenders, while Chris Edmondson cranked out a home run and a single.
