Destin Dolphins dominate on the gridiron

The Destin Dolphin Juniors rolled over Niceville 3 Eagles 25-0 in their season opener in the Panhandle Football League Association on Saturday.

The Dolphins scored on their opening drive with a 30-yard run to the outside by Harrison Orr.

Orr finished the game with two more big touchdown runs and completed an extra point attempt.

Late in the third quarter, defensive end Zac Thomas recovered a fumble and sprinted to a 40-yard touchdown.

Destin’s Brandon Harnish had a big fumble recovery on special teams after the Dolphins tried an onside kick.

This week the Dolphins take on Niceville 1 at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at Helen McCall Park in Santa Rosa Beach.
