X-treme H20 wins two in week one

X-treme H20 walked away with two wins in the first week of the city of Destin’s Men’s Softball League play at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

X-treme handed Doc’s a 26-23 loss and posted a 21-14 win over Heritage Tree Services.

In the win over Doc’s, X-treme stepped out to a 13-3 lead in the first two innings. Doc’s closed it down to in the sixth and then put up eight in the bottom of the seventh, which was just four shy of a win.

Josh Snyder led the way for X-treme with a homer, triple, two doubles and two singles for four RBIs. Chris Terry slapped a home run and three singles for two RBIs, and Jeremy Viaynet hit two doubles and two singles for four RBIs. Others belting home runs were Austin Jessup, Chris Poole and Brian Martinez.

Doc Agostenelli led Doc’s with two doubles and three singles for three RBIs. Steve Rivera hit four singles for three RBIs, and Joseph Pike doubled and hit two singles. Justin Chaknis slapped two home runs, while Chris Trotman, Vinny Carraza and Sean Aitkens each hit one.

In the victory over Heritage, X-treme came from behind to take a 6-4 lead in the third inning and then pulled away the next couple of innings by a score of 14-10.

Jeremy Viaynet hit three homers for X-treme, while Chris Terry and Jamie Steiner each hit one.

Cody Kilpatrick hit two home runs and a single for three RBIs for Heritage. Chris Tarplee connected for a hit and four RBIs.

• 30 Aces 17, Harbor Docks 5

The first couple of innings were close with 30 Aces holding a one-run lead. In the top of the third, 30 Aces blew the game open with seven runs and then put the game away in five innings.

John Viaynet homered and hit a double for an RBI for 30 Aces, and Jake Fannin tripled for four RBIs.

Ernest Firth doubled for two RBIs for Harbor Docks, while Luke Smith singled for three RBIs.

• Doc’s 27, World Famous Crab Island 10

At the end of three innings, Doc’s led 11-7. In the bottom of the fourth, Doc’s exploded for 16 runs and the win.

Torrence Washington connected for two homers and two singles for seven RBIs for Doc’s. Joseph Pike homered and hit three singles for four RBIs, while Adam Conant hit three singles for two RBIs.

Frankie Owens led Crab Island with a double and three singles. Rick Owens doubled and singled for an RBI, and Allen Owens hit two singles.
