Busch Leaguers whip Harbor Docks

Kyle Ely connected for three hits to lead Busch Leaguers in a 16-3 win over Harbor Docks in the Men’s Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Ely ripped a triple and two singles for three RBIs.

At the end of two innings, Busch Leaguers were up 6-3 and 16-3 by the end of four. The game was over in five innings.

Kyle Kennedy slapped a home run and a triple for an RBI for Busch Leaguers, while Ranson Early smacked a homer.

Phillip Vhalos doubled and singled for Harbor Docks. Brandon Patzig knocked a two-run homer and Eddie Morgan singled.

• X-Treme H20 26, Sunsouth Builders 5

X-Treme jumped out to a 13-4 lead in the first two innings and managed to put the game away in five.

Jeremy Vaiynet clobbered a home run, a double and two singles for two RBIs for X-Treme. Jamie Steiner homered, doubled and singled for three RBIs, and Chris Terry doubled and hit three singles for two RBIs. Brian Martinez and Josh Snyder each hit home runs.

Blake Cody hit two doubles for two RBIs for Sunsouth. Todd Schrag hit two doubles for an RBI and Joe Kerns hit two singles for an RBI.

• Doc’s Softball Club 19, Harbor Docks 11

Down 10-6 after two innings, Doc’s battled back with five runs in the third, one in the fourth, two in the fifth and five in the sixth for the win.

Joseph Pike blasted a home run, three triples, a double and a single for three RBIs for Doc’s. Steve Rivera hit two homers, a triple and two doubles for four RBIs, and Chris Trotman homered, hit two triples and a single for two RBIs.

Brodie Deborgory hit a homer and a double for two RBIs for Harbor Docks. Brandon Patzig homered, doubled and hit three singles for four RBIs.

• Doc’s Softball Club 23, Sunsouth Builders 9

Doc’s started strong with 19 runs in the first two innings and then coasted home for the victory in five.

Joseph Pike smacked two home runs for Doc’s along with three triples, two doubles and a single for four RBIs. Adam Conant hit three triples, a double and two singles, and Eddie Rivera connected for two triples and a double for two RBIs.

Todd Schrag hit three triples, two doubles and a single for three RBIs for Sunsouth. Chad Bets hit two triples and a single for two RBIs.

• Busch Leaguers 21, Heritage Tree Service 20

At the end of three innings, Heritage was up 11-9. Busch took the lead in the fourth with five runs. In the top of the seventh, Heritage got the advantage back 19-18. Busch scored three in the bottom half for the win.

Kyle Kennedy knocked in seven runs for Busch on a homer and two triples. Ranson Early hit two doubles and two singles for four RBIs, and Colby Cram hit three singles for an RBI.

Josh Padilla hit four singles for three RBIs for Heritage. Kurt Haynes hit three singles for three RBIs, and Nolan Long hit four singles.

• 30 Aces 12, World Famous Crab Island 9

30 Aces led 4-2 at the end of three innings and 6-5 after four. In the fifth, Crab Island took a one-run lead. 30 Aces got the advantage back in the sixth with four runs.

Bobby Griffith hit four singles for an RBI for 30 Aces. Corey Griffith hit two inside the park home runs and two singles for four RBIs, and Jamison Henshaw hit three singles for two RBIs.

Shayne Bryant tripled, doubled and singled for three RBIs for Crab Island. Rick Owens and Quinn Crozier each hit three singles for an RBI.
