Having Fun reels in big win

Michael Haynes knocked in eight runs to lead Having Fun Yet? in a 22-6 win over Fenders in the Coed Division I Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Haynes clobbered two home runs, a double and a single for eight RBIs.

Having Fun scored 10 runs in the first and then another 10 in the second to blow the game open.

Austin Jessup hit two homers, a double and a single for three RBIs for Having Fun. Jamie Phillips tripled and singled for two RBIs, and Ryan Grandstaff hit a home run.

Robin Hankins hit two singles for Fenders while Todd Schrag singled for two RBIs.

Down 16-8 after three innings, TayGray came back with 10 runs in the fourth and eight in the fifth to pull ahead. TayGray scored one last run in the sixth.

Marc Bergerstock doubled and hit three singles for TayGray. David Holifield ripped two homers and a triple, and Trevor Gray hit three singles for two RBIs.

Don Edwards hit two homers and a double for Chiropractic. Teresa Desgranges doubled and hit four singles for two RBIs, and John Corlew tripled, doubled and hit two singles for two RBIs.

• 30A Company 22, Almighty Installations 15

30A started strong scoring the 10-run limit in the first inning. 30A led 14-9 at the end of three innings.

Allison Arvegoin tripled and hit two singles for two RBIs for 30A. Amanda Hurley and Adam Vafides each hit three singles for an RBI.

Don Buck tripled and doubled for two RBIs for Almighty. Jaymeson Foerster and Jobina Johnson each hit three singles for an RBI.

Advanced jumped out to an 8-1 lead in the first two innings. In the fourth, Advanced scored the 10-run limit for an 18-7 advantage.

Nate Decker hit two doubles and three singles for four RBIs for Advanced. Cindy Leurendi hit three singles for two RBIs, and Brandon Patzig homered and hit three doubles.

Nate Hendrickson connected for a double and three singles for Almighty. Jobina Johnson doubled and hit two singles for an RBI, and Frank Kaesser tripled and singled for an RBI.
