TayGray Photography snaps up win over Advanced A/C

Josh Snyder knocked in four runs to lead TayGray Photography in a 31-16 victory over Advanced A/C and Heating in the Coed Division I Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Snyder cranked out a home run, triple, two doubles and a single for four RBIs.

The first two innings of play was close with TayGray on top 11-9. In the top of the fourth, TayGray exploded for 10 runs, and then picked up four more in the fifth and six in the sixth for the victory.

Shannon Vanden Heuvel connected for five singles for an RBI for TayGray, while Marc Bergerstock tripled and hit three singles for three RBIs.

Brandon Patzig led Advanced A/C with two triples and two doubles for two RBIs. Nate Decker hit three triples for three RBIs, and Jordan Brewer hit three doubles and a single for three RBIs.

Almighty Installations 21, Emerald Coast Chiropractic 12

Down 7-2 after three innings, Almighty took the lead in the fourth with six runs and then pulled away in the fifth with eight more.

Chelsea Womack hit three singles for Almighty. Megan Irby hit an inside-the-park homer and a double for two RBIs, and Jaymeson Foerster hit two singles for an RBI.

John Corlew was tops for Chiropractic with three singles for two RBIs. Kat Mortenson hit two singles, and Shawn Woods a double and a single.

Having Fun Yet? 28, Merica 13

Having Fun stepped out to an 11-4 lead in the first two innings and then stretched it to 19-9 in the third.

Kurt Haynes doubled and hit four singles for an RBI for Having Fun. Jen Phillips slapped a homer, triple and a double for four RBIs, and Jamie Phillips tripled and hit two singles for two RBIs. Neil Washington blasted three home runs, while Michael Haynes and Ryan Grandstaff each hit one.

Matt Reich homered, tripled and hit two singles for two RBIs for Merica. Steven Kertz hit two singles for two RBIs and Hollie Henderson singled.

30A Company 15, Fenders 7

Fenders took the early 6-1 lead in the first two innings. 30A got on a roll in the fourth with six runs and then picked up five more in the fifth.

Josh Ring was top batter for 30A with a home run, double and a single for two RBIs. Adam Vafides hit two singles and Lauren Reinle doubled and hit two singles.

David Beard connected for three doubles and a single for an RBI for Fenders. Courtney Stevens hit three singles for an RBI, and Todd Schrag doubled and hit two singles.
