The Destin Dolphin Juniors shut out the South Walton Seahawks 19-0 in the Panhandle Youth Football Association over the weekend.

Destin quarterback Harrison Orr completed six of seven passes and scored two touchdowns, one late in the first quarter on a 40-yard run and then another in the third quarter. Maddox Hayles was good for the point after touchdown.

Leading receivers for Orr were Deuce Price, Baylen Knox and Eric Scott.

The Dolphin defense held their ground with two big goal line stops and a pick-six by Orr.

Destin’s Brandon Harnish had a fumble recovery and a quarterback sack for a loss of yards, while Brick Larabee, Braxton Beard and Hayles had multiple tackles in the backfield forcing the Seahawks to punt.

The Dolphins punting team had a big day with Price forcing a turnover and recovering it for Destin.

Orr and Hayles showed their skilled team work after a big punt by Orr with Hayles downing it on the 1-yard line.

“Orr and Hayles did this twice during the game. Simply amazing,” said Destin Coach Chad Price.

Team captains for Destin were Brick Larabee, Mason Wetzel, Maddox Hayles and Garrett Fulmer.

The Dolphins, 6-2, have a bye week this Saturday before going into the playoffs on Oct. 29.
