Performance Pressure Washing pulls off win for title

After dropping the first game, Performance Pressure Washing rallied in the title game to beat Bubba Gump 17-9 for the championship in the Coed Division III Softball League tournament at Morgan Sports Center.

In game one on championship night, Performance didn’t perform up to par and fell 26-11 to Bubba Gump.

Bubba took an early 16-9 lead in the first three innings. In the fourth, they picked up one run and then put the game away in the top of the fifth with nine runs scored.

Big hitter for Bubba Gump was Ken Johnson with a double and a single.

Brittany Mainer hit two singles for Performance, while Jason Shinholster ripped a home run and Cameron Flynn hit two doubles.

In the title game, Performance got the early advantage, taking a 6-3 lead in the first three innings. In the top of the fourth, Bubba scored two but Performance rallied the bats for eight runs and a 14-5 ball game. Performance scored one run each in the last three innings for the win.

Jason Shinholster hit two singles for Performance. Other top batters were Brandon Brookshaw and Dennis Fabacher.

Jordan Locke belted a homer, two doubles and two singles for Bubba. Steve Cline also did well at bat.
