Busch Leaguers blasts Crab Island

Jake Small belted four hits to lead Busch Leaguers in a 29-7 win over World Famous Crab Island in the Men’s Recreational Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Small blasted two home runs and two doubles for four RBIs.

In the first inning, Busch jumped out to a 7-0 lead and then brought in another eight in the second for a 15-6 lead. Busch managed to put the game away in five innings.

Corey Hutchins cranked out two home runs and two singles for three RBIs for Busch. Kyle Ely homered and hit three singles for four RBIs and Michael Bailey smacked a home run.

Rick Owens knocked in three runs for Crab Island on a double and a single. Quinn Crozier doubled and singled and Doc Agostinelli hit two singles for two RBIs.

Xtreme 40, The Craft Bar 29

Xtreme had two big innings to put the game away in five. They scored 19 in the first and 13 in the third.

Brandon Polein connected for three triples and four doubles for three RBIs for Xtreme. Brian Martinez hit two triples, three doubles and two singles for two RBIs, and Austin Jessup hit three triples and three singles for three RBIs. Belting home runs were Travis Carroll and Chris Poole.

Todd Schrag led Craft Bar with a triple, three doubles and two singles for two RBIs. Pedro Gonzales hit two triples, a double and a single for two RBIs, and Matt Clasen tripled for an RBI. Mike Stoltz smacked a home run.

Xtreme 30, Frank’s Team 12

Xtreme started strong with 15 runs in the first inning. They managed to polish off the game in five.

Chris Terry slapped three homers, three triples and a double for three RBIs for Xtreme. Austin Jessup hit two home runs, three triples, three doubles and two singles for four RBIs, and Jamie Steiner connected for three triples, a double and two single for three RBIs.

William Feads hit two homers, two triples and a single for two RBIs for Frank’s. Jamie Benedetto connected for three triples, a double and a single for four RBIs, and Colby Reynolds hit three triples and two doubles for three RBIs.
