Wing Stop put a halt to So Wal
Michael Robbins ripped three hits to lead Wing Stop in a 32-16 win over So Wal in the Coed Division II Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.
Robbins connected for two triples and a double for seven RBIs.
At the end of two innings, Wing Stop was sitting on a 15-6 lead and 22-7 at the end of three. Wing Stop put the game away in five innings.
Brian Meeks doubled and hit two singles for three RBIs for Wing Stop. Don Buck belted three doubles for three RBIs, and Kay Hilton hit three singles for four RBIs.
Jenine Rousso hit two singles for two RBIs for So Wal, while Cody Knowles hit two singles for an RBI and Joni Shaw an inside-the-park home run for three RBIs.
Chosen Heating and Cooling 29, Misfits 14
Chosen scored the 10-run rule limit twice for the win.
Blaine Watkins connected for four doubles and a single for four RBIs for Chosen. Danny Adkins hit two triples and a single for six RBIs, while Mark Wilson tripled, doubled and hit three singles for three RBIs, and Mendy McIver doubled and hit three singles.
Sam Senor knocked in four runs for Misfits on a triple, double and a single. Cameron Flynn hit three singles and Jason Shinhekter tripled and singled for an RBI.
HOA’s 21, Landshark Pizza 13
HOA’s scored nine in the second and third innings for an 18-13 lead and then picked up three more in the fifth before time ran out on the game.
Isaac Diaz was tops for HOA’s with two triples, a double and three singles for three RBIs. Ken Wampler hit two triples and two doubles for two RBIs, and Stephanie Larabee tripled and doubled for an RBI.
Zach Cragin tripled and hit two doubles and two singles for two RBIs for Landshark. Laura Cooper hit two triples and a double for two RBIs, and Matt Molkna tripled and hit two doubles for an RBI.
Destin Locksmithing 30, Navigators 2
Locksmithing scored six in the first and six in the second for an early 12-2 lead. Locksmithing put the game away in five.
Matt Wright smacked three triples, two doubles and two singles for four RBIs for Locksmithing. Nick Reimer tripled, hit two doubles and a single for two RBIs, and Casey Tetman hit two triples and a double for two RBIs.
