TayGray Photography snaps up win

Marc Bergerstock knocked in five runs to lead TayGray Photography in a 31-4 win over 30A in the Coed Division I Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Bergerstock cracked out two home runs and three doubles for five RBIs.

In the first two innings, TayGray stepped out to an 11-4 lead, and then picked up 10 more runs in the next two for a 21-4 advantage. In the top of the fifth, TayGray scored the 10-run limit for a 31-4 finish.

Angela Coteat doubled and hit three singles for two RBIs for TayGray, while Chad Ashton ripped an inside-the-park homer and two singles for three RBIs.

Josh Ring led 30A with two doubles and a single. Amanda Hurley doubled and singled for three RBIs, and Chelsea Womack hit two singles.

Clemenza’s at Uptown 26, Emerald Coast Chiropractic 10

Clemenza’s led 6-3 at the end of two innings and then exploded for the 10-run limit in the third. Clemenza’s managed to put the game away in five innings.

Chris Moore led Clemenza’s with a home run and three singles for four RBIs. Jobina Johnson tripled, doubled and hit two singles for four RBIs, and Joe Feltner hit two doubles and two singles for two RBIs.

Don Edwards smacked a home run and two singles for an RBI for Chiropractic. Whitney Whidden tripled and singled, while Clint Clemens hit an inside-the-park homer as well as one over the fence for two RBIs.

30A 21, Tailfins Merica 20

At the end of three innings, Tailfins was on top 8-6 and by the end of four, 12-6. In the bottom of the fifth, 30A scored the 10-run limit to go up 16-12. Tailfins rallied in the top of the sixth with eight runs to go up by four.

In the bottom of the seventh, with no-time left on the clock, 30A scored the five runs needed for the win.

Josh Ring slapped a home run, triple and a double for four RBIs for 30A. Josh Snyder connected for a home run, triple and two singles for four RBIs, while Chelsea Womack doubled and hit two singles, and Jameson Foerster tripled and hit two doubles for an RBI.

Justin Lund was the big stick for Tailfins knocking in nine runs on two homers, one inside the park, a double and a single. Hollie Henderson hit three singles for an RBI, and Amy Holt doubled and singled for an RBI.

Free Agents 26, La Paz 11

The first half of the ball game was close with Free Agents up 11-10 at the end of four innings. However, in the next two innings, Free Agents scored nine in the fifth and six in the sixth for the win.

Travis Carroll blasted two home runs, a triple and a single for seven RBIs for Free Agents. Brandon Patzig homered, hit two doubles and a single for three RBIs, and Aubrey Claxton connected for two triples, a double and a single for an RBI. Dan Candeias and Jordan Brewer also hit home runs.

Cody Maddox tripled and hit two singles for La Paz. Missy Wellborn doubled and hit two singles for four RBIs and Todd Preston hit two singles.
