Stanley Securities beats Healthsource

Lee Major connected for four hits to lead Stanley Securities in a 26-8 win over Healthsource in the Coed Division III Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Major hit a triple, double and two singles for three RBIs.

Down 4-2, Stanley scored the 10-run limit in the top of the second to go up 12-4. Stanley went on to score six in the third and eight in the fifth for the win.

Danny Adkins hit two triples for two RBIs for Stanley.

Ryan Johnson led Healthsource with a triple, double and a single for two RBIs. Jeremy Maines tripled and doubled for an RBI.

Destin Locksmithing 37, Almighty Installations 18

Trailing 14-11 after three innings, Locksmithing took the lead in the top of the fourth with four runs. In the fifth, Locksmithing added four more runs to stay on top 19-17.

With time running out in the top of the sixth, Locksmithing exploded with 18 runs. Almighty could only muster one run in the bottom half.

Brandon Blyden cranked out a home run, triple and a single for seven RBIs for Locksmithing. Joe Feltner tripled, doubled and hit two singles for four RBIs, and Matt Wright tripled and hit three singles for four RBIs.

David Beard doubled and hit three singles for two RBIs for Almighty. Laura Mosley hit three singles for three RBIs, and Justin Bleque homered and doubled for three RBIs.
