Emerald Coast Chiropractic cracks out win

Don Edwards knocked in six runs to lead Emerald Coast Chiropractic in a 27-22 win over HarborWalk Marina in the Coed Division I Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Edwards clobbered two homers and two singles for the six RBIs.

HarborWalk took the early lead bringing in the 10-run limit in the first inning while holding Chiropractic to four runs. By the end of three innings, HarborWalk led 17-14.

In the top of the fourth, HarborWalk picked up two runs before Chiropractic exploded for 10 runs in the bottom half.

With time running out, both teams scored three runs in the fifth with Chiropractic securing the win.

Shawn Wood belted a home run, triple and three singles for three RBIs for Chiropractic. Whitney Whidden tripled and doubled for two RBIs. JD Whidden also hit a home run.

Chris Poole was tops for HarborWalk with three home runs and a single for six RBIs. Brian Martinez homered, doubled and hit two singles for three RBIs, and Hannah Asprodite singled.

Fireballers 14, Island Wings 10

At the end of four innings, Fireballers was up 6-4. In the top of the fifth, Island Wings edged ahead with three runs but then Fireballers evened the score with one in the bottom half.

In the top of the sixth, Island Wings scored two. Fireballers took advantage of few walks mixed in with hits to score seven runs to go up 14-9. Island Wings scored one last run in the top of the seventh.

Joey Binaco belted an inside the park home run, a double and a single for four RBIs for Fireballers. Cody Maddux hit an insider and a triple for an RBI and Jennifer Robbins singled.

Chris Edmonson led Island Wings with a triple, double and a single for an RBI. Chris Rubino connected for two doubles and a single, Sean Schragg hit three singles for two RBIs, and Courtney Stevens singled.

2 Brothers Remodeling 21, Ace in the Hole 20

2 Brothers came from behind to tie the game and then win it in extra innings.

After four innings of play, Ace was leading 12-7 but by the end of six, 2 Brothers was up 19-16. In the top of the seventh, Ace evened the score with three runs.

In the eighth inning, Ace scored one and then 2 Brothers answered with two in the bottom half for the win.

Justin Nunley led 2 Brothers with two home runs, a triple and a single for five RBIs. Nelson Campbell ripped a homer and two singles for four RBIs and Jobina Johnson hit two singles for an RBI.

Justin Abdo hit an inside the park home run, a double and two singles for four RBIs for Ace. Nikki Stewart hit three singles for three RBIs, and Andy Collins doubled and hit two singles for an RBI.

Coastal Beach Service 29, Buffalo Wild Wings 9

Buffalo took an early 9-2 lead in the first two innings.

Coastal went on to score six runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings for a 20-9 lead. Coastal scored nine more in the sixth for the win.

Mike Belen knocked in eight runs on two triples, a double and a single for Coastal. Brandon Patzig smacked two home runs, a triple and a double for six RBIs, Travis Carroll hit two homers, and Dena Klosterman tripled and hit two singles.

Ethan Randolph homered and singled for two RBIs for Buffalo. Justin Reid and Melissa MacNool each hit two singles.
