Emerald Coast Chiropractic cracks out win

Shawn Wood knocked in five runs to lead Emerald Coast Chiropractic in a 24-2 win over Emerald Coast Alarms in the Coed Division II Softball League at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.

Wood belted a triple and two doubles for five RBIs.

In the first two innings, Chiropractic took charge of the game with 10 runs in the first and nine in the second. The game was over in five.

Teresa Imdieke hit four singles for Chiropractic for three RBIs, and Beth Henry connected for three singles for four RBIs.

Matt Wright and Brandon Blyden each hit two singles for ECA. Amy Collins singled for an RBI.

SoWal 16, Backstreet Ballers 1

SoWal scored seven runs in the first and then another seven in the third for a five inning win over Backstreet.

Tyler Stalhalt belted a home run, double and a single for SoWal. Joann Roseki hit two doubles and a single, while Rae Banks hit two singles.

Ari Roper led Backstreet with three singles. Jimmy Huff and Justin Hutchison each hit two singles.

SoWal 15, Fender Collision 4

SoWal stepped out to an 8-3 lead in the first three innings and then put seven more runs in the fourth for the win.

Josh Raya was the big stick for SoWal with a homer and two singles for three RBIs. Kyle Boyer hit two doubles and a single for three RBIs, and Katie Gavitt hit two singles for two RBIs.

Brittany Foerster hit three singles for Fender. David Beard connected for two singles and Brad Desgranges singled for two RBIs.

Pool Shark Softball 16, SoWal 9

Pool Shark led 10-3 at the end of three innings. In the top of the fourth, Pool Shark added three and SoWal picked up one. SoWal finished with two in the fifth and three in the sixth, while Pool Shark added three runs total for the win.

Brittany Foerester doubled and singled for four RBIs for Pool Shark. Mike Cecil tripled and singled for two RBIs.

Tops for SoWal were Kyle Boyer with a triple for an RBI and Josh Raya with a single for an RBI.
