The Destin Lady Marlins finished strong this week with three wins on the links to bring their regular season to a close with a mark of 9-0.

On Tuesday, Destin beat the Ruckel Rams of Niceville 121-128 at Indian Bayou Golf and Country Club in Destin.

“This was our last home match and we had a good time out there today,” said Destin Coach Patricia Malpass.

“It’s fun to play Ruckel because they always have talented players and to get a win makes it even better.”

Camryn Lux led the Lady Marlins with 28 across six holes.

Juliana Hock and Aaliyah Miille each shot a 30. Marlee Rountree and Darbi Fraser each carded a 33 and Emmy Chandler checked in with 40.

On Wednesday, Destin went head to head with Liza Jackson and St. Mary’s at the Eglin Golf Course in Niceville besting both teams. Destin shot a 122, while Liza Jackson scored 153 and St. Mary’s 176.

Tops for Destin, each with a 30, were Lux, Miille and Hock. Rountree scored a 32 and Fraser a 35. Piper Lindsey scored a 36 for the Marlins.
