The first round of the city of Destin's Coed Kickball League double elimination tournament began Monday evening at Morgan Sports Center.
Last year's champs Bundt Cakes beat Blue Marlin Beasts 11-1, while Whiplash defeated Pitches B Trippin 16-4.
In the elimination game, Blue Marlin Beasts beat Pitches B Trippin 16-1.
Tournament play will continue Monday. Games slated for 6:45 p.m. are Bundt Cakes vs. Whiplash and Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies vs. Emerald Coast Kayaks.
