The Destin Marlins dominated on the road Tuesday with a 7-0 blowout win over the Meigs Wildcats in middle school boy’s soccer action in Shalimar.

In the first 10 minutes of play, Destin’s Dean Redmond broke away with the ball on the left side and then booted it into the right corner of the goal to get things started.

Five minutes later, Redmond was back. This time he kicked it high in the net for a 2-0 mark.

About two minutes later, the Marlins teamed up to put one in the net. Archer Yates came down the right side and booted the ball across to Bentley Partlowe, who slammed it into the back of the net for a 3-0 game.

Three minutes later, Destin’s Matheus Barcelos followed up on a kick to score with the Marlins leading 4-0 at the half.

In the second half, Partlowe scored another goal and Yates booted in two to give the Marlins a 7-0 victory.
