DKM Custom Homes nail down win

Alex Kruse and Ian Thomas each scored 13 points to lead DKM Custom Homes in a 44-35 win over Wild Willy’s in the city of Destin’s Youth Basketball League 12-16 age division.

At the half, DKM led 26-21.

Chalrie Guillory also hit double digits for DKM with 10 points. Scoring four each were Omar Granados and Katie Dixon.

Jandel Gadea was high-point player for Wild Willy’s with 21 points, including three 3-pointers. Jayden Ricca and Ethan Ramsey each scored seven.

In other 12-16 action:

Bubba Gump 48, Crocker Brothers Painting 15

Elijah Davis was tops for Bubba with 16 points. Brandon Conk knocked down 15 points and Armin Jusis added 13 points. Kace Gould attributed four points.

Will Blanchard scored seven for Crocker Brothers. Gunnar Smith hit four, while Reeve Dwyer and Robert Pankratz each chipped in two.

Ages 9-11

Subway 23, Half Shell Oyster House 21

Half Shell led 12-10 at the half.

Nathan Hiers led the Subway attack with 13 points. Cameron Cook scored six, while Elias McCoy and Jonas Smith each tossed in two.

Harrison Sanders scored 11 for Half Shell. Parker Yates hit for eight and Logan Smith, two.

Better Homes and Gardens 35, Pristine Paint 28

Mason George fired up the nets for 17 points to lead Better Homes. Lavin McDaniel scored eight and Carter Phillips, six. Chipping in two each were Griffin Cann and Lucas Springer.

Jaden Fair scored 12 for Pristine and Sara Oakes hit for eight. Jayce Roberson and Eli Joseph O’Brian each contributed four points.

Robbins Builders 34, Dynamic Pain and Wellness 12

Charlie Frankfurt had the hot hand for Robbins with 22 points, with 16 coming in the first half. Stephen Riggs scored eight and Hamilton Martin added four.

Calix McCune scored three for Dynamic. Chipping in two each were Xavier Crawford, Wesley Hall, Avery Cowles and William Cowles. Cruze McCune added one point.

Himes Signs Corp 32, Porath and Associates 20

Jabari Weeks was high-point player for Himes with 18 points. Zai ’Shawn Brown hit double digits as well with 12 points. Kade Kominos scored two.

Braden Phillips led Porath with nine points. Carter Powell scored four and Calvin Blackman, three. Contributing two each were Hayden Barcus and Heath Criswell.

Ages 7-8

Frankfurt 1031 Exchange 15, Imagine Data Services 7

JB Martin led Frankfurt with six points. Noah Finkler hit for four points. Scoring two each were Henry Frankfurt and Max Wortman. Elijah Slaton scored one point.

Graham Herndon scored four for Imagine and Davidson Lee, three.

Merrill Lynch 33, Aaron’s Pool and Spa 9

Will Horin hit double digits for Merrill Lynch with 14 points. Luke Horin scored six, Elijah Feagin five, and Bradley Griffith four. Scoring two each were Blake Marracco and Jayden Hall.

Connolly Barcus scored six for Aaron’s. Judson Phillips picked up two points and Bentley Reed, one.

Emerald Coast Xtreme Steam 17, Books by Schmidt 12

Kane Terry led Xtreme with five points. Scoring four each were Chase Adkinson and Molly Jane Hall. Ryder Kendall and Grayson Lacey each scored two.

Kemper MacDonald scored four for Schmidt. Contributing two each were Parker Duffin, Arlan Alpiev, Cayman Johnson and Drew Tedder.

McGovern, O’Dell and Associates 16, Subway 8

Bentlee Bailey led McGovern with 10 points. Jax O’Dell scored four and Case Culhane, two.

Jayven Brown scored six for Subway and David Orsua, two.

Panera Breach 30, Dermatology Specialist 12

Hitting double digits for Panera was Hudson Riggs with 12 points. Barrett Robbins scored seven, Brooks Olson Smith six, Caleb Riggs three and William Thillet two.

Foster Alley scored five for Dermatology and Nikolas Dudley four. Contributing one each were Joseph Hayes, Anna Kate Hall and Ansleigh Reynolds.

Subway 36, Nathan Hall DMD 15

Jayden Mullins was tops for Subway with 11 points. Carson Gregory and Brosnan Kramer each scored nine and Tanner Reese, six. Ethan Robinson chipped in one.

Elijah Finkler and Liam Wolfle each scored five for Nathan Hall. Raheem Culp hit for four and Tiago Rella-Tillis contributed one.

Labrada’s Home Improvement 26, O’Connell and Associates 20

Tops for Labrada was Jarvis Rickman with 13 points. Scoring four each were Mack Horin and Maxx Carrow. Maximus Miller and Colin O’Bannon each scored two. Nora Reyes scored one.

Griffin Terry scored nine for O’Connell. Knox Taylor scored six, while Abel Smith and Isaiah Paulino each added two. Warren Smith scored one.

DKM Custom Homes 21, Championship Title 20

High-point player for DKM was Brock Sansom with 13 points. Cylar Strother scored four and Matthew Dixon, two. Lily Dixon and Walter Backes each added one point.

Bentley Barnwell led Championship with 15 points. Madeleine Baughman scored four and Easton Strickland chipped in one.

Be My Shopper 19, Destin Insurance Group 16

Jacob Armstrong was tops for Shopper with 13 points. Hunter Daniels scored five and Alex Murray, one.

Bronnen Juneau scored seven while Miachel O’Bannon scored six for Destin Insurance. Jonah Kuhlman chipped in two points and Charlie Thompson, one.

Subway had three players in double digits. Caden Colgan scored 13, Michael Powell 12 and Silas Stickler 11. Masiah Sanders scored five, Mason Hughes three and Mason York two.
