HarborWalk Marina whips Dumplings

Travis Holland knocked in seven runs to lead HarborWalk Marina in a 30-14 win over My Pho King Dumplings in the city of Destin‘s Coed Softball Division II championship game at Morgan Sports Center.

Holland cranked out two home runs, a double and a single for the seven RBIs.

HarborWalk stepped out of the gate strong scoring the 10-run limit in the top of the first inning.

My Pho answered with only one run in the bottom half.

In the second inning, each team scored one and then My Pho picked up three in the third, but still trailed 11-5.

In the top of the fourth, HarborWalk had another strong inning putting nine runs on the board.

My Pho answered with its strongest inning of the game with six runs. In the bottom of the fifth, My Pho scored three. HarborWalk was still on top 20-14.

In the top of the sixth, HarborWalk put the game away scoring the 10-run limit again. My Pho ran out of gas in the bottom half and failed to get a run home.

Brian Martinez belted two homers and two singles for six RBIs for HarborWalk. Tori Champman connected for four singles for three RBIs, and Chris Poole doubled and hit three singles for two RBIs.

Mike Ingram led My Pho with two shots out of the park and a double for five RBIs. Justin Coppock homered, doubled and hit two singles for three RBIs, and Megan Irby hit two singles. Blaine Watkins also slapped out a home run.
