Merrill Lynch cashes in for win over Emerald Coast Xtreme Steam

The kids in blue spread the ball around with eight players putting points on the board for Merrill Lynch in their 20-9 win over Emerald Coast Xtreme Steam in the city of Destin’s Youth Basketball League 7-8 Division at the Destin Community Center.

Scoring four points each for Lynch were Will Horin and Elijah Feagin. Tossing in two each were Nash Fosdyck, Luke Horin, Blake Marracco, Bradley Griffith, Jayden Hall and Thatcher Sommerville.

Bev Tintzman scored five for Emerald Coast and Ryder Kendall picked up the other four points.

In other 7-8 action

McGovern, O’Dell and Associates 14, Frankfurt 1031 Exchange 2

Bentlee Bailey led McGovern with eight points. Jax O’Dell added six points.

Scoring the lone basket for Frankfurt was Max Wortman.

Imagine Data Service 24, Aaron’s Pool and Spa 8

Parker Bloom led Imagine with 10 points. Davidson Lee scored eight and Graham Herndon checked in with six.

Payton Gates led Pool and Spa with six points. Bentley Reed chipped in two points.

Subway 16, Books by Schmidt 10

Jayven Brown was tops for Subway with eight points. David Orsua scored four, while Jayden Rowell and Aaron MaGee each chipped in two.

Parker Duffin was high-point player for Books with eight points. Kemper MacDonald contributed two points.

B&C Fire Safety 22, Destin Insurance Group 18

Scoring six each for Fire Safety were Brantley Bailey and Tucker Reese. Mallory Horn scored five. Contributing two each were Greyson Dick and Lucas Miller. Noelle Reyes chipped in one

Bronwen Juneau scored five for Insurance Group and Jonah Kuhlman, four. Scoring three each were Jacob Phillips and Adam Nagy. Easton Clevenger scored two and Michael O’Bannon, one.

Be My Shopper 40, Subway 38

Harrison Schmidt fired up the nets for 28 points for Shopper. Jacob Armstrong and Joshua Hernandez each scored four, while Maksym Cooper and Bennett Schmidt each added two points.

Caden Colgan was high-point player for Subway with 23 points. Masiah Sanders scored 10. Mason Hughes hit for two points, while Michael Powell, Rocco Sanabria and Mason York each chipped in one.

Labrada’s Home Improvement 28, Subway 26

Jarvis Rickman led Labrada’s with nine points. Colin O’Brannon hit for seven and Mack Horin, five. Contributing two each were Nora Reyes, Alexa Granados and Maxx Carrow. Mason Mueller chipped in one.

Tops for Subway was Carson Gregory with eight points. Brosnan Kramer scored seven, Jayden Mullins six, Tanner Reese four and Ethan Robinson one.

Nathan Hall DMD 27, DKM Custom Homes 21

Raheem Culp led Hall with 12 points. Delanie Hayden scored seven and Eli Cooper six. Elijah Finkler chipped in two points.

Brock Sansom was on fire for DKM with 17 points. Finley Rodenbough and Lily Dixon each scored two points.

Panera Bread 22, Championship Title 7

Miles Merritt led Panera with five points. Scoring four each were Barrett Robbins, Hudson Riggs and William Thillet. Brooks Smith and Hunter Tintzman each scored two and Emmie Roberson, one.

Bentley Barnwell scored all seven points for Championship.

Griffin Terry was the hot hand for O’Connell with nine points. Knox Taylor scored six, while Warren Smith and Michael Guin each scored three. Chipping in one each were Charlie Zielinski and Abel Smith.

Joseph Hayes and Ansleigh Reynolds each scored three for Dermatology. John Sawyer McIlain and Nickolas Dudley each added one point.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate 36, Himes Signs 31

Mason George was high-point player for Better Homes with 18 points. Lavin McDaniel scored eight and Griffin Cann six. Scoring two each were Carter Phillips and Diego Rodriguez.

Hitting double digits for Himes were Jabari Weeks with 14 and Zai’Shawn Brown, 11. Azriel Shay Kitchens scored six.

Cameron Cook led Subway with six points. Scoring four each were Nathan Hiers and Elias McCoy. Holden Black chipped in two.

Charlie Frankfurt led Robbins with eight points. Scoring two each were Will Wortman, James Campbell and Ryne Burks.

Jaden Fair had the hot hand for Pristine with 27 points. Sara Oakes scored 14 and Jayce Roberson added four.

Cannon Wilbur led Taco Town with 10 points. Dylan Baughman and Kellen Ramsey each scored six and Carter Marracco four. Brooks Chouinard scored three and Nathan Sills and Kohltan Ward added two each.
