Where SEC teams are rated in second 2021 College Football Playoff rankings?

The second edition of the College Football Playoff rankings have been released and Georgia is still No. 1. Alabama, Oregon and Ohio State round out the top four in that order. 

The rest of the top 10, in order: Cincinnati, Michigan, Michigan State Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Oklahoma State. Cincinnati has the highest ranking for a member of a Group of 5 conference. 

Around the SEC, Texas A&M is ranked No.11, Ole Miss No.15, Auburn No.17 and Arkansas No.25.

Purdue entered the rankings at No. 19 after beating Michigan State last week. Undefeated UTSA made its first-ever appearance in the rankings at No. 23. 

This year the semifinals round will be held at the Cotton and Orange Bowls on Dec. 31st. The national championship will be played at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Jan. 10. 

The CFP rankings come out every Tuesday at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.
