Prep Roundup: Moye shoots 73, Niceville boys golf finishes third at A.C. Read

Chris Poate's crew is rounding into form on the links.

A third-place finish at the lauded A.C. Read tournament validates that, the Eagles getting a 1-over 3 from Braydon Moye en route to a 321 team score.

That follows last week's 1-under 71 from Moye, who finished third individually in Pensacola.

Teammate A.J. Doss followed with a 77 for the Eagles, who got an 84 from J.T. Lupella and an 87 from Cannon Stringfellow.

South Walton shot a 341 and was led by Hayes Gibson's 78.

Fort Walton Beach shot a 355 and was led by Eddie Lee's 79.

Crestview shot a 370 and was led by Aaron Bates' 74.

Choctaw, which didn't qualify for a team score with only three golfers, was led by Cameron Hindel's 83.
