Pier/Surf

It's another foggy damp day with clean flat water Tuesday morning at the Okaloosa Island Pier. Fishing has been slow with the only report coming in of flounder.

Inshore/Bay

Sheepshead has been the hot ticket the last few days around the bridge and docks in the harbor. Try using a fiddler crab or oyster for bait. The redfish bite is also good. Look for the diving birds or try trolling a stretch Rapala lure near the bridges or around the drop-offs. And believe it or not, there have been reports of pompano and Spanish mackerel being caught in the harbor.

Offshore/Bottom

It's been a bit cold in the last week, but the fish are still biting. Anglers out bottom fishing are pulling in mingo, white snapper, red snapper, triggerfish, scamp, grouper and lane snapper. No reports from offshore.
