Clark's 'Caps: Bank on these NBA player prop predictions, 5/10/21
Monday's NBA schedule is pared-down with just a six-game card, but all of them have playoff implications. Below, we'll highlight the top NBA player prop predictions.
We are treated to a point guard duel when the surging Washington Wizards led by Russell Westbrook visit the Big Peach for a road game against Trae Young's Atlanta Hawks.
There's a Southwest Division matchup on the docket with the 11th-place New Orleans Pelicans in "must-win" mode facing the ninth-place Memphis Grizzlies, who are jockeying for playoff position themselves.
Finally, the West Coast headliner features the banged-up Utah Jazz, who are trying to secure home-court advantage throughout the postseason, hosting Stephen Curry's Golden State Warriors.
Monday's NBA player prop bet predictions
Golden State Warriors SF Andrew Wiggins OVER 1.5 made 3-pointers (-135)
Curry has been on an insane tear over the past five weeks-averaging 37.5 points per game on .507/.461/.902 shooting-naturally opens up quality looks for his teammates, which helps Andrew Wiggins in this spot.
Since the All-Star break, Wiggins has upped his 3-point percentage from 35% pre-All-Star Game to 41% post and, in the first two Jazz-Warriors meeting this season, Wiggins went 5-for-7 from 3-point land.
Utah is a well-coached team that's motivated to finish off its 2020-21 regular-season campaign on a high note. I expect the Jazz to at least try and make Curry's teammates beat them.
Wiggins should continue to benefit from all the attention Curry garners as he's hit two or more 3's in five of his past six games.
BET A. WIGGINS OVER 1.5 MADE 3-POINTERS (-135) for 1 unit.

Indiana Pacers SG Caris LeVert OVER 23.5 points (-105)
The plummeting Pacers need to stop the bleeding against the Cleveland Cavaliers Monday as they still have a chance of falling out of the play-in tournament or catching the eighth-place Charlotte Hornets.
Indiana has dealt with cluster injuries to its backcourt but recently acquired guard Caris LeVert is starting to take over as Indiana's primary ballhandler and is hitting his offensive stride.
Over his past 10 games, LeVert is averaging 26.1 points per game on 47% field-goal shooting (39% from behind the arc) and has cleared 23.5 points in seven of those 10 games.

LeVert's position in the backcourt isn't set in stone. He is more or less is a "combo guard," who at times will facilitate offense for his team or just get buckets for himself.
Either way, Cleveland doesn't do a good job defending guards (fourth-worst defensive field-goal percentage vs. opposing PGs and SGs) and is terrible defensively where LeVert likes to attack.
For instance, according to CleaningTheGlass.com, 92% of LeVert's field-goal attempts are on mid-range shots and Cleveland has the worst defensive field-goal percentage on all mid-range attempts.
BET C. LEVERT OVER 23.5 POINTS (-105) for 1 unit.
